Why should I stage my home?
If you are listing your home for sale, you will want to get expert advice on how to “stage” it, or how best to position it so that buyers will be able to imagine themselves living there.
For our online design consultation service, Stagerie allows you to take pictures of your house “as is” and receive expert feedback from one of our certified stagers within 2-4 days , sent directly to your email. Our stagers will tell you what to “pre-pack”, what to paint, and where to move furniture to make your rooms feel as welcoming as possible.

Is home staging the same as interior design?
In a word, no. Before buyers make an offer, they must be able to see themselves in the home. They have to stop viewing it as someone else’s space and see it as their future space. This is a much different process than designing a space to call home. It must feel inviting, but not occupied; custom, but not personal; stylish, yet adaptable.
Most of us do not live in spaces designed this way. Yet, when it is time to sell a home, a professional stager can use small changes to make a world of difference. In fact, research shows that staged homes not only sell faster, but for a higher price.
Don’t be fooled into thinking that you can’t afford professional staging. Our expert stagers work quickly using the photos you provide to make recommendations for affordable adjustments (think removing extra items and adding small touches like throw pillows or plants) that suit your lifestyle. It doesn’t cost a lot, but the investment can have a huge return.
Unfortunately, while most of us understand that staging is important, we have a blind spot when it comes to the spaces we live in every day. An outside professional can see the space with fresh eyes and recommend what to keep, what to put away, and what to add.

How does the online consultation work?
Using your phone, start a new staging project. Take a quick exterior photo and then take photos from every corner of every room. You can add comments to each room as needed. Submit your staging project, and we’ll get the results back to you within four days. That’s it!
How do I take the best photos?
For each room:
- Turn on all the lights.
- Take a picture from each corner.
- If there is a nook or special feature, take a picture specifically of that area.
- If there are multiple entry points into a room, take a picture from each entry point.
- Have any specific questions for your stager? Fill out the comments for each room as needed.

Do I need to use a real estate agent to use Stagerie?
No. Either you or your real estate agent can start the online staging project. If you are selling your home For Sale By Owner, you can still use Stagerie!
Can I choose which stager to use via Stagerie?
Yes! When first starting your Stagerie project, you’ll be asked if you want to select a stager (search by name or email), or if you want us to choose for you. If your favorite stager is in our system, you can direct all projects to them. Alternatively, all of our stagers have specific links that they can send you to book with them. If your favorite stager is not yet a certified Stagerie stager, have them apply to Join Our Team.
How much does Stagerie cost?
Our online service is a $225 flat rate, no matter the size of the home or the number of pictures you upload.
If I use Stagerie, what will you do with my information?
Check out our privacy policy. We take information security very seriously; we do not store your credit card information and all passwords are encrypted.
